Services / 01—03

COMMERCIAL INTERIOR SYSTEMS, INSTALLED TO DEFINED INFORMATION.

GWG package scope

Three connected service categories: suspended ceilings, structural framing systems, and partitions with plasterboard and plastering. Each one is described through the system, its interfaces and the information required to build it.

[01] / Ceilings

Suspended Ceilings

A suspended ceiling creates a secondary ceiling plane beneath the structural soffit. Depending on the specified system, it can organise services, provide access to the void above and contribute to acoustic or fire-performance requirements. GWG installs the documented ceiling build-up within the agreed package and coordinates the visible and concealed interfaces around it.

[02] / Framing

Structural Framing Systems

Structural framing systems use light-gauge steel sections to form a precise framed construction. GWG installs SFS where it is included in the agreed package and suitable design information is issued, coordinating connections, openings and interfaces with the primary structure, boards, insulation and façade build-ups.

[03] / Partitions

Partitions and Plastering

A commercial drylining package can combine metal studs and tracks, insulation, plasterboard, wall linings and finishing around doors, glazing, service zones and adjoining construction. GWG installs partitions and plastering work to the documented layout, build-up and finish route within the agreed package.

Service detail

System

The complete build-up matters.

  • Profiles, boards, grid, insulation and fixings are not isolated products.
  • Performance belongs to the documented assembly and its details.
  • Substitutions or changed build-ups need project-team resolution.

Interface

The edge of one package is the start of another.

  • Openings and services affect framing and lining.
  • Ceiling perimeters affect partitions and finishes.
  • Structural movement and floor edges affect SFS coordination.

Responsibility

Scope should be explicit before work is concealed.

  • Design responsibility remains where the contract allocates it.
  • Installation follows issued project information.
  • Unresolved change should be raised before following trades close the work.
